This isn’t always possible though, so in many cases, other steps may need to be taken. You often find that with vegetarian diets, vitamin d deficiency can take hold, and many times supplements are needed in order to restore balance. The three largest risk factors that are associated with a lack of vitamin d are: Persons Underexposed to Sunlight, Persons Unable to Process Milk Products, and Persons on Strict Vegetarian Diets.
If you are a person in one or more of these categories and you can correct the problem, do so immediately. If you aren’t able to fix the problem, then you may have to use a vitamin d supplement in your diet. Vitamin d deficiency, when carried to its extreme, can lead to a wide variety of dangerous health conditions such as rickets disease and osteomalacia.
Vitamin deficiency in general, is one of the root cause of much of the symptoms of fatigue, weakness, and general lack of health experienced throughout the world.
